How I Manage My Time Between Work and Content Creation

Between entrepreneurship, content creation, and side projects, I’ve learned the problem is rarely a lack of time — it’s the lack of a simple system that protects it. This is the method I actually use, and it’s simpler than you’d expect.

1. One priority per day

Every morning I pick the single thing that makes the day a success if it gets done — not a ten-item task list. Consistently finishing the one important thing compounds faster than busy, unfocused days.

2. Time blocks instead of task lists

I divide the day into blocks reserved on the calendar: a deep-work block, a content-creation block, and an admin block. A task without a reserved slot rarely gets done — the calendar is more honest than intentions.

3. A fixed slot for content, however short

Consistency beats volume. A short, regular block for testing a tool, writing a prompt, or editing a clip outperforms one long session every few weeks. That’s how projects like the RESILIENT video happened — small regular steps, not a single push.

4. A weekly review in minutes

At the end of each week I ask three questions: what got done, what stalled and why, and what’s next week’s priority? No complex journals or stacks of apps — three honest answers are enough to correct course.

5. Protect your energy before your time

I place the hardest creative work where my energy peaks, and leave routine tasks for low-energy windows. One hour at full energy is worth three hours of exhaustion.

Start with the smallest step

Don’t rebuild your whole system at once. Pick one priority for tomorrow, reserve a block for it on the calendar, then repeat. And if you liked this approach, browse the rest of my tutorials.
