One deep block a day

A single protected block for creative work — generating, writing prompts, reviewing results. Everything else fills the gaps around it, not the other way round.

The block is short on purpose. Two hours of real attention beats eight hours of context-switching, and it leaves room for the rest of a working life in Dubai.

A weekly review, not a daily one

Once a week I look at what shipped, what stalled, and what I'll drop. Daily reviews turn into busywork; a weekly one is enough to change direction without drowning in metrics.

The review is one page: what shipped, what's stuck, one thing to drop. Three lines. Anything longer becomes a journal, not a review.

Publish before it's perfect

Every project on this site went public before I thought it was finished — including the RESILIENT tutorial. Publishing is what generates the feedback that makes the next one better.

The cost of publishing early is a slightly rougher first version. The cost of waiting is no feedback at all. I take the rougher version.

Where AI fits

AI tools compress the production side, so the routine is really about deciding what to make and documenting it well. The bottleneck moved from making to thinking — and a boring routine protects the thinking part.
