Samsung expands One UI 9 and Galaxy AI rollout to more Galaxy devices

Samsung has begun expanding One UI 9 to a wider group of Galaxy devices. Official Samsung materials list the Galaxy S26 series among the early devices in the rollout, with additional eligible phones and tablets following in phases. One creator-focused addition is My FanCam, which can automatically track a selected person in recorded video and keep them centered as the scene moves.

Phone software is becoming part of the camera and creator workflow. Features that automatically reframe people or assist with editing can change how short-form content is produced without new hardware. For UAE and Gulf users, the key questions are rollout timing by device and regional availability of individual AI features.

The useful part is not the AI label itself. I would judge a feature like automatic subject tracking by whether it keeps the right person framed reliably and actually saves time compared with manual cropping in a Reel workflow.
